AMV Air Conditioning Service, Inc. was featured in the "Unico Commercial Newsletter" for designing and installing a system that has the capability of saving operating cost by creating two separate cooling zones by installing a high efficiency condensing unit that has two speeds. During operation when one zone is not being used the compressor would slow down to a lower speed, when maximum cooling is needed it would go into high speed. This set up can also be installed into a residential home, our current project in the Hawaii Kai area involves a design I created by creating 7 different zones with a square footage of 600 to 650 square feet. Unlike a zone dampered system, with my design the electrical consumption is reduced by fluctuating the power draw from the compressor unit.
