Due to the steel frame construction incorporated
with the use of structural steel beams made the
kitchen the most difficult area of the home to air
condition. By recommending this ceiling recessed
cassette system and the general contractor doing
some minor modifications to the soffit that was
planned for the kitchen. We were able to separately
cool off the kitchen area.

Design Challenges: Whether it is a new home or an existing
we can install either a ductless split system and
also central air conditioning. The upper right image
will show the custom pipe covering that is used
to help conceal the piping routed exposed along
the exterior wall. On some of our installations
we make an attempt to prevent any piping from being
exposed along the exterior wall by running the piping
from the attic down into a closet above the garage
and then penetrate the exterior wall at the height
of the point of connection to the condensing unit.

Design Challenges: Homeowner insisted on having central air
installed because he wanted the system to look unobtrusive.
According to him installing a ductless wall mounted
split system was not an option. With very minimal
attic space made the Unico System the only system
that could centralize the kitchen, living, dining
hallway & foyer area.

Design Challenges: Install a centralized heating & cooling
system without having to drop the lower floor ceiling
height. Construction cost to hide duct work was
minimized because of the smaller ducts used by the
Unico System. Customer now enjoys the comfort of
removing humidity and heating during the winter
season. Cooling was hardly a factor to consider
at this elevation. Remote control thermostat allows
this homeowner the control the temperature of the
room they are occupying.

a/c contractors to do this home. Although the homeowner
made it clear he wanted central air conditioning,
he was told that central air conditioning could
not be installed in a home designed like this. Therefore,
the contractors only proposed to install (6) ductless
wall mounted split systems. Through Aldrin of AMV
Air Conditioning Inc they were able to have a central
air system design and install in this tri-level
home with very minimal attic space. AMV designed

Design Challenges: This homeowner received bids from several
a/c contractors to do this home, with no attic space
the only options made for this homeowner was for
multiple wall mounted split systems. Before settling
for their recommendations Aldrin was called in to
give a second opinion on this project. Image above
shows this home is now being cooled off with the
occupants and guests not knowing where this cool
air is coming from. This is one of many custom designed
