DUCTLESS SPLIT SYSTEM (RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS)
This type of system requires that the installation work be done by a licensed contractor. There are (8) types of ductless split systems configurations that is available in the industry and they are as follows:

When choosing a split system make sure all factors are taken into consideration, mainly the decibel ratings of the indoor units, different manufactures make the same capacity unit but may vary in the sound levels that emits from the indoor unit. Split systems also differ in their physical dimensions, for the same capacity you will have units that vary in physical dimensions. Latest evolvements in ductless split system include units that now reach an operating efficiency of 12.00 SEER and some models also have a plasma air filter to help maintain a cleaner indoor air conditioned environment. DUAL ZONE DUCTLESS SPLIT UNITS
This type of unit allows you to cool off two rooms (same cooling capacity for both rooms) using a single compressor unit. TRI ZONE DUCTLESS SPLIT UNITS
This type of unit allows you to cool off three rooms (same cooling capacity for both rooms and a larger capacity for one of the three rooms) using a single compressor unit. CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS)
Highly recommend qualified and licensed contractors install this type of system (ask for references possible) These systems consist of an indoor air handling unit and outdoor condensing unit. Air handling unit can be installed vertically on a stand in a closet or horizontally in the attic. The myths of central air conditioning is that it way to expensive to operate or way to costly to install. Yes a central air conditioning system installation if not planned properly will be too expensive to operate on a monthly basis. Unlike ductless splits systems, central air conditioning comes in operating efficiencies that range from 10.00 SEER up to 16.00 SEER, it gives the buyer the opportunity to chose how efficient they would want their system to be (the higher the SEER rating the less you will pay in electricity for your comfort). Central air conditioning offers other benefits by maintaining the aesthetics of the home by having vents installed in the ceiling or hidden in a soffit at the base of a coffered ceiling. Unlike having an air conditioning appliance mounted on your living room wall.

CENTRAL AIR SYSTEMS ENHANCED WITH THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED ZONE DAMPERS
Highly recommend qualified and licensed contractors install this type of system (ask for references if possible). A zone controlled system will complement any central air system that has been designed to cool off several rooms within a home. By having a zone controlled system installed with your central air unit, it will give the user the ability to turn the unit on and off on demand from each zone. Zone controlled systems also allows the unit to maintain an even temperature regardless of the way the sun is impacting that particular side of the home because the cooling thermostat installed in that zone will monitor the room temperature and help the unit compensate for the additional heat load in the zone..

This is a unique method to air conditioning a residential and commercial space, there we highly recommend only qualified and licensed contractors install this Unico System. Before choosing a contractor to install your Unico System you may want to ask for job references to make sure the contractor has successfully completed a Unico System installation with no complaints from the customer. Unico System Air Handling Unit Installations:



The following example is a testimony of the creative approach AMV Air Conditioning Inc takes in helping our customers find solutions for their installation challenges. With no attic space in an all wooden open beam ceiling home, we set aside a closet to install the air handling unit the Unico flex duct as show on the left was routed up next to the ridge beam. A wooden soffit was later built to conceal the duct flex ducts and the Unico oak wooden outlets were installed on both side of the walls providing this new master suite with central air. This master suite and study used to be cooled off with two ductless split systems, being near the ocean this was problem the indoor unit kept of falling apart from corrosion, the new air handling unit was coated with PSX and Heresite VR-514 to help increase its life expectancy.

Window Air Conditioning
This type of system requires no special license to purchase and most installation can be done by handyman or by the homeowners themselves.




COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL PACKAGED AIR CONDITIONING
Generally installed in commercial type applications and is used in residential applications with homes that have flat roofs with no attic spaces. In this type of application sheet metal ducts are installed exposed on the rooftop of the home.




COMMERCIAL CHILLED WATER AIR CONDITIONING UNITS
Installed only in commercial type applications where chilled water is a source for air conditioning the building. The ductless application being shown here is like a ductless split system but with no compressor unit, makes cool air by piping it into the building chilled water system.





COMMERCIAL AIR COOLED PACKAGED CHILLER UNITS
Installed only in commercial type applications this system is the main source of air conditioning for a commercial building by producing chilled water to each air conditioned zone.





COMMERCIAL DUCTED SPLIT AIR CONDITIONING UNITS
Installed for commercial applications only, large cooling capacities up to 20 tons of cooling (240,000 BTU's)
